Club
Benefits:
Members may use sailing vessels during scheduled rental hours for which they
are qualified for no additional charge. Availability of
vessels is subject to class demands, private lessons and
is on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Sorry,
but vessels cannot be reserved.
Class Discounts: Members may take regularly scheduled Sailing classes and participate in clinics,
races and other sailing events at 50% off. (Affiliation
levels apply, so a Student or a Recreation Member would
pay 50% of the Student/Recreation Member price for a class
while a UCLA Community member would pay 50% of the UCLA
Community member price.)

Equipment for the Sailing Club will be limited to the instructional fleet of
Capri 14s, Vanguard 15s, Lasers, and Hobie 16s. The number
and composition of available vessels on any given day may
change due to scheduled classes, private lessons, maintenance
or special events. Members are encouraged to call ahead to
inquire about vessel availability.

Current, dues paying members of the UCLA
Sailing Team are accorded the privileges of the Sailing
Club during the academic year.

Affiliation: If you are not a current UCLA Student, UCLA Staff,
Faculty, UCLA Alumni Association Member, MAC Member, or student
at another college, you may join the "UCLA Community"
by becoming a MAC
Member or a UCLA Alumni Association Member and be eligible
for the Sailing Club.
